DRM-KD bass drum microphone: a full, warm and precise sound
A new generation of pickup with a look and sound that will bring back fond memories for engineers of a certain generation… Unlike some of today’s mics, which have an artificially deep frequency response, the DRM-KD reproduces the full sound of the bass drum, leaving the engineer free to equalise according to musical style and arrangement.
2 Duo-A1 overheads (condenser microphones)
Two static condenser microphones that are particularly effective as overheads, offering faithful reproduction of the high frequencies of cymbals and excellent spatialisation of the drum kit.
One 22 mm capsule. Directivity: Cardioid, ideal in acoustic configurations for capturing front-end sound while reducing unwanted ambient noise.
Frequency response from 30 Hz to 20 kHz, ensuring detailed capture across the entire audio spectrum.
Sensitivity: -38 dB $2 dB, for accurate capture of the nuances of your playing.
Low-cut filter: Integrated at 100 Hz with 12 dB/octave attenuation to eliminate unwanted low frequencies.
For optimum overhead use on an acoustic drum kit, we recommend positioning the microphones in a stereo configuration, such as the XY technique, to capture a balanced, natural sound image of the whole kit.
